Since 2006, the research of high power optical fiber laser of XIOPM has achieved repaid development with the support of the National High-Tech R&D Program of China, Knowledge Innovation Program of CAS, and National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2009, XIOPM achieved the all-fiber laser output of breaking 1000W which was the first domestically. And in 2010, XIOPM continuously launched the 1st generation 400W industrial class optical fiber laser, which realized 400W continuous laser output and got wide attention from the industry. However, the 1st generation 400W industrial class optical fiber laser only has the mode of continuous laser output, and the laser output interface, communication interface and control interface are not able to integrate with industrial application directly.
In order to apply this scientific research achievement to the industry rapidly and serve the society, XIOPM launched the 2nd generation 400W industrial class optical fiber laser in August 2011 after striving for technological breakthroughs for over one year. Comparing to the 1st generation, this product is market-oriented, and has achieved great promotion in the aspects of operation mode, red ray designator, system integration, and communication and control interface. It has realized "plugging in laser output", and can be directly applied to industrial laser processing.
The output power of this production is continuously tunable, and has good stability, high reliability, and high integration of optical, mechanical and electrical control. It has two operation modes of continuous and quasi-continuous, and has the function of red ray designator, which can be directly applied to intelligent processing equipment. It is easy operation and maintenance free.
With the rapid development of this technology, XIOPM has gradually possessed the industrialization ability of high power optical fiber laser. It has incubated Xi'an Jiuzhi Photoelectricity Co., Ltd, which is specialized in the research development and production of high power optical fiber laser.
