Recently, the "the Belt and Road" international science organization alliance (hereinafter referred to as "ANSO Alliance") project " Research on rapid acquisition of remote sensing image and its application technology in commercial aerospace" jointly undertaken by Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "XIOPM") and United Institute of Informatics Problems of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus successfully completed the construction of an overseas commercial satellite TT&C station in Minsk, Belarus.
This project was approved in July 2020 with the support of the ANSO alliance, and researcher Zhou Zuofeng from XIOPM was appointed the project leader. Since the approval of the project, researchers from both China and Belarus have been in close contact, overcoming difficulties in long-distance communication, and successfully completing preliminary work such as software development, antenna equipment development and transportation, and radio frequency license Acquisition in Belarus. From August 21 to 26, 2023, the project team went to Belarus and successfully completed the construction of an overseas commercial remote sensing satellite ground measurement and control station.
Under the initiative and support of ANSO Alliance, the follow-up of the project will focus on the promotion of joint technology R&D and application platform industrialization, which will have a positive effect in follow aspects such as accelerate the implementation of China's advanced commercial aerospace scientific research achievements, advanced technologies and industry university research concepts in the "the Belt and Road" countries and regions.
