The Project of "Ultrafast Laser Micro Processing Equipment and the Application" Wins Shaanxi First Prize for Science and Technology

On the morning of April 28, Shaanxi Science & Technology Award Conference was held solemnly in Shaanxi Hall, and Lou Qinjian, Secretary of CPC Shaanxi Committee, Hu Heping, Governor of Shaanxi Province and leaders of provincial departments and at prefecture level were present at the awarding ceremony.

  The Conference awarded "Shaanxi First Prize for Science and Technology" to 39 scientific and technological achievements and "Shaanxi Second Prize for Science and Technology" to 107 scientific and technological achievements. In this commendation conference, the project of "Ultrafast Laser Micro Processing Equipment and the Application" completed by Zhao Wei under the National Key Laboratory for Transient Optic Technology of XIOPM won the "Shaanxi First Prize for Science and Technology".

  The achievement is China’s first set of industrialized ultrafast laser micro-processing equipment facing major demand of high-end manufacturing technology in aerospace, presents breakthroughs in many bottlenecks in key technology, key components, overall unit integration and process development, is characterized by high development difficulty and complexity and successfully applied in aerospace, auto and electronics, opens new direction of high-end manufacturing equipment and boasts broad prospects for application.
