Two Projects of XIOPM Win Progress Prize in Scientific and Collective Technology of Shaanxi Academy of Sciences

Date: Apr 24, 2013

Recently, winners of Progress Prize in Scientific and Collective Technology of the Shaanxi Academy of Sciences have been announced. The first prize of that was awarded for NSFC “Research on Interaction of Special Mode Optical Field and Particles” undertaken by Yao Baoli and others with State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics and Photonics of XIOPM. The second price of that was awarded for “Automatic Observing Ocean Multiband Infrared Radiometer” undertaken by Zhang Jian and others with Aircraft Laboratory of XIOPM.
The project “Research on Interaction of Special Mode Optical Field and Particles” focuses on deep theory study of the production and transmission of special mode optical field and its performance transformation when through optical system, meanwhile, it analyzes the interaction between these special mode optical field and micro-nano particles and the transfer of concomitant momentum and angular momentum during the course of interaction.
Installed on oil survey platform, the “Automatic Observing Ocean Multiband Infrared Radiometer”, unattended, provides remote and timely data of surface temperature of profundal zone and the sky temperature. The survey data could be used for the research of interaction between skin temperature and body temperature.
