From December 4 to 6, the XIOPM-RAP joint seminar hosted by RIKEN Center for Advanced Photonics was successfully held in Japan. Eight scientists, including Yao Baoli, director of the State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics and Photonics of China, Fu Yuxi, executive deputy director of the Center for Attosecond Science and Technology of Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, went to Japan. More than 40 scientists from both institutes attended the seminar. During the conference, 12 scientists gave academic presentations on topics such as attosecond science, ultrafast imaging, nanophotonics, and microscopic imaging, they explored scientific issues, collisioned ideas, and shared viewpoints.
This conference is a pure academic feast and also an attempt to explore international exchange and cooperation models in the new situation, which has a positive role in promoting scientific and technological exchange and cooperation between China and Japan.
