Biography:
Liu Hongjun received his doctor degree of science from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. Now he is a professor and deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics and Photonics Technology, Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Furthermore, he is the winner of the first Lu Jiaxi young talent award of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the member of the Young Promotion Union of Science and Technology of Chinese Academy of Science, and the member of committee of China Optical Engineering Society. He has presided over and completed more than 30 research projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Knowledge Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. Until now, he has published more than 150 research papers as the first author and corresponding author, and obtained 17 invention patents authorized by the state. In 2009, he was invited to visit Germany sponsored by the Humboldt Foundation. He has successively visited Japan, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, the United States, Austria, Spain and other countries for many international academic exchanges, and completed more than 40 invited reports of academic conferences. As the leader of the research group of nonlinear photon technology and application, his current main research work includes ultrashort and ultrahigh intensity laser technology, nonlinear enhancement and detection technology of weak light signal, high-efficiency optical terahertz generation technology and application, mid infrared few photon imaging and detection technology, silicon-based micro-nano nonlinear photonic technology, etc.
