Biography:
Yishan Wang is a Professor at the Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics,CAS and a Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics and Photonics. He graduated from Northwest Normal University in 1993. He then earned master and doctorate degree at the Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1996 and 1999. From 2007 to 2008, Wang visited the Kansas State University. His research interest focus on generation, amplification and applications of ultrashort laser pulse, including femtoseocnd fiber comb, supercontinuum, attosecond science etc.
