XIOPM was awarded the “Outstanding Contribution Units for Chang’e-2 Lunar Probe Mission” during a celebration rally to mark the successful launch of the nation's 2nd lunar probe Chang'e-2 on Dec. 20. Zhao Wei, Director General of XIOPM, research fellow Zhao Baochang and seven research staffs from lunar probe mission group attended the celebration rally on invitation.

Research fellow Zhao Baochang, chief designer of the CCD stereo camera, and Dr. Xue Bin got the “Outstanding Contributors for Chang’e-2 Lunar Probe Mission”. Research fellow Zhao Baochang also made a speech about the development process and technological innovation of the CCD stereo camera.
