On May 16, CAS Xi’an Branch in Xi’an organized appraisal of achievement of “High Resolution X-ray Image Intensifier Visual System” jointly completed by CAS XIOPM and Xi’an ZKMT Electronic Technology Equipment Co., Ltd, an enterprise with investment by our institute.

High-resolution X-ray image intensifier visual system is an industrial X-ray testing system characterized by independent IPR, advanced design, easy operation and safe service. It can be widely used for testing quality troubles of short circuit , open circuit, cold welding and welding spot void, etc occurred during production and assembly in electronic industry, and is suitable for testing quality of BGA, CSP, Flip Chip integrated circuit inside and multi-layer circuit board, and for X-ray testing in other fields.

High-resolution X-ray image intensifier visual system adopts closed micro-focal-spot X-ray tube and needs no vacuumization, is able to easily penetrate chip with radiator, realizes quick switching between two demands of large field browsing and local detail observation, and improve testing efficiency. At the same time, the system adopts independently researched and developed high- resolution X-ray intensifier image and special image processing software to make image clearer. All operations of the system can be realized independently through computer. The high-stability moving platform can move with large travel in directions of X, Y and Z, and the tilt testing mode can make users carry out test of product quality more accurately.
The appraisal committee, after hearing work report and technical report of project group, and test report of testing group, making on-the-spot inspection, asking for explanation and discussing, unanimously approved appraisal of achievements of the project. The expert group thought that high- resolution X-ray image intensifier visual system has advanced design and comprehensive technology leading domestically, will meet broad prospects and make better economic benefits, and suggested further enhancing industrialized development of the system, so as to expand application of the product in more fields.
