Introduction

Laboratory of Advanced Optoelectronics and Biomaterials was established in 2006. The laboratory has two main research directions, i.e. the special optical glass materials and fibers, and biophotonics materials and optical technology. Our aims are to develop optical gain media for high power laser and space optical systems, etc.
The center has 6 permanent staff, including 3 professors and 2 associate professors and senior engineers, of whom there are 3 Doctor supervisors and 4 Master supervisors. The department now has two post-doctorates and more than 10 postgraduates. The average age of the researchers is under 40.
