The four basic properties of light are amplitude, frequency, phase and polarization. The polarization information of the reflected light of the detected target often carries unique information independent of the other three attributes, which has a unique advantage in reflecting the characteristics of the target.
The real-time polarization optical imaging camera can capture three linearly polarized images in different directions and one circularly polarized image simultaneously and calculate the full Stokes vector in real time. The camera has two functions: real-time defog intensity imaging and real-time full polarization imaging.
