On Sep. 3, prize-awarding ceremony of the 1st “Chang’an Bank Cup” Shaanxi Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the 3rd China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (Shaanxi Division) was held in Shaanxi Center of Science and Technology Resource Planning. Vice-governor of Shaanxi province Zhang Daohong, director of Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology Zhang Zhihong, etc. attended the ceremony and presented prizes for the winners. Vivolight Medical Device & Technology Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Christal Pixel Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. respectively won the 1st and 3rd prizes and Xike Angel Fund was awarded the Excellent Organization by the organizing committee.  

At present, China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is an innovation competition of largest scale and most influence within China. This year, Shaanxi province for the first time participated in the competition as a division. Shaanxi division was jointly hosted by Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Chang’an Bank and co-organized by Xike Angel Fund. The competition was started in late June, with 331 enterprises and 89 teams attending. Through heated contest and strict selection in preliminary, quarter-final and final, enterprises incubated by XIOPM including “Vivolight”, “Ptsensor” and “Lasfiberio” were successfully promoted to the final of advanced manufacturer group, and “Christal Pixel” was qualified to enter the final of electronic information group. In the end, “Vivolight”, based on its solid technological strength, energetic innovation team, bold innovative thoughts, pioneering innovative vitality and its internationally advanced hi-tech products of strong market competitiveness and good prospect, conquered judges and won the 1st prize of advanced manufacturer group with absolute high mark-91.27 (the best in the whole province); in addition, “Christal Pixel” was awarded the 3rd prize of electronic information group. “Vivolight” will be recommended by Shaanxi division to attend the national final. Moreover, another enterprise incubated by XIOPM-“Auto-linked” achieved good result in China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (Shanghai Division) and it will be qualified to the national final as one of the 63 superior enterprises of Shanghai division.   

Winner of the 1st prize of Shaanxi division-“Vivolight” is a China’s first hi-tech enterprise specialized in R & D, manufacture and service of biomedicine optical image. It has multiple OCT key technologies and research and production ability of core parts. It has successfully developed China’s first high-speed 3D endoscopic OCT image system and projection infrared angiography. Recently, it has developed the world’s first depth-measurable angiography. The enterprise has signed angiography agent contract with agents from more than 30 provinces. The product accounts for 80% of domestic market share and has been imported to Dubai, Finland, Copenhagen, Columbia, South Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Peru and other countries.

Winner of the 3rd prize of Shaanxi division-“Christal Pixel” is mainly engaged in R&D and production of optical-electro-mechanical integration system and products and has complete line of production of 3D projection. Its leading product high-brightness 3D projector adopts self-developed core video processing chip, integrates terminal and playback device system together and successfully solves the limitation of playing 3D video. With advantages of small size, flicker free and no radiation as well as display features of wide viewing angle, wide color gamut and high definition, this product is applicable to total solution for education, home 3D theatre, promotion on tiled large 3D screen, dome theatre and etc.   

On the ceremony, director of OCT and Biophotonics R&D Center, XIOPM and general manager of “Vivolight” Zhu Rui gave a speech as the representative of winning enterprises. He introduced the enterprise’s history of establishment, entrepreneurship and innovation and profoundly appreciated XIOPM’s innovative research system and mode and harmony and liberal innovation and entrepreneurship environment that encouraging success and forgiving failure as well as Shaanxi provincial government’s fully support to technological innovation. He stressed that it was under this policy environment that entrepreneurs may be inspired unlimited innovative vigor, lead teams to keep exploring, innovate and make breakthroughs and develop more hi-tech products which bring benefits to people.
