Hi-Tech Achievement of XIOPM Exhibited on Western Photonics Academic Conference

On October 19, (the 5th) 2013 Western Photonics Academic Conference hosted by Shaanxi Optical Society and High Speed Photography and Photonics Specialized Committee of the Chinese Optical Society was held in Xi’an City. High brightness 3D projection system of Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS and its joint-stock company Xi’an Image Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. of CAS, ion air purifier of Xi’an Beiang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. of CAS and high speed medical ophthalmic optical coherence tomography (OCT) of Shenzhen Shimmer Medical Devices Technology Co., Ltd. of CAS were exhibited and aroused high attention from experts attended.



All exhibition products are hi-tech achievements researched and developed by XIOPM successfully in recent years and realized industrialization. Among the products, high brightness 3D projection system adopts polarized technology. Based on research of 3D video source format, high-performance video processing chip is developed, which is compatible with majority film sources of 3D display on the market. Ion air purifier adopts ion wind air purification technology. It can absorb 20-nanometer PM 2.5 particles effectively, clear the decoration pollution and second-hand smoking efficiently, and is the only air purifier on the market that without wind and with CADR exceeding 200. Medical optical coherence tomography (OCT), combining interferometer optics, weak signal detection, dispersion compensation, image processing and other technology, is the typical interdiscipline and system engineering. The said system realized 50,000 line scanning per second which surpassed the highest speed of foreign congeneric high-end ophthalmology OCT. The aforesaid three achievements attracted many experts to observe and experience immediately after being exhibited and gained favorable comments.
