“Ultraviolet Microscopic Measurement System”Successfully Developed By XIOPM Has Been Formally Put Into Service

“Ultraviolet Microscopic Measurement System” independently developed by Testing Center of Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), has passed the acceptance check by CAS recently and has been formally put into service. The said system can measure focal length, color deviation and field angle of ultraviolet and visible optical lenses and automatically measure distortion, disc of confusion diameter. Main technical index thereof are as follows: spectral range of measurement 200~1000 nm; automatic measurement repeatability of distortion 0.1%; automatic measurement repeatability of disc of confusion diameter 2.1%.

When utilizing the device, it is only required to plan and adjust in advance and click the Start button, and then automatic measurement of optical lenses distortion and disc of confusion diameter can be completed. The said device has integrated engineering experience accumulated by XIOPM in optical lenses tests for a long period and mixed mature algorithm in distortion and disc of confusion diameter measurement, due to which optical lenses tests’ dependence on manual operation in the past has been simplified and automatic measurement is realized in its true sense.
