On September 17, 2012, Shaanxi Overall Scientific and Technological Resource Center which is the largest scientific and technological resource service platform in Shaanxi Province and even the entire northwest China started up in Xi’an. Many high-tech achievements of XIOPM showed on the achievement exhibition of the center, causing multi-concern of the society.

Many of the hi-tech products showed on the exhibition, including fiber optic current sensor, fiber optic fluorescence sensor and measurement system, 1000w high power fiber laser and MEMS temperature humidity sensor and pressure sensor chip, are independently researched and successfully realized or under industrialization by XIOPM based on demands of the state and regional and represent the top level in domestic relevant fields at present. On the date of launching ceremony, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress Zhang Daohong, vice-governor of Shaanxi Province Zhu Jingzhi attended and looked around the scientific achievements of XIOPM. On September 19, the exhibited achievements attracted the concentration of Secretary of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Zhao Leji and Secretary General of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Liu Xiaoyan.

Shaanxi Overall Scientific and Technological Resource Center composes of five scientific creative service platform and 12 business systems including instruments and facilities sharing, scientific archive sharing, scientific data sharing, natural scientific resources sharing and scientific and financial service. It will be the sharing station of Shaanxi scientific resources, exhibition station of scientific achievements, transaction station of technological property right, the combination station of science and finance and activity center of scientists and entrepreneurs of Shaanxi Province.
