The curtain of the 3rd High-Tech Cup Innovation and Invention Contest which was jointly held by Intellectual Property Bureau of Shaanxi Province, Xi’an Bureau of Science and Technology and the Management Committee of Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone has dropped recently. Among the 12095 entries, the entry “An Approach of Assisting Aircraft in Landing” of Yang Hongtao, Tang Linao and others of Aircraft Optical Measurement Technology Laboratory of our institute won the first prize of the contest. Entry “One Optical Fiber Expanded Beam Connector” of Feimiao Optoelectronic Technology (Xi’an) Co., Ltd. won the second prize and the entry “Beam Combining Method of Semiconductor Optical Maser by Plug-in Arrangement and Semiconductor Optical Maser with High Power” of Xi'an Focuslight Technologies Co., Ltd. won the third prize thereof.

Since the first contest held in 2009, 3 sessions of High-Tech Cup Innovation and Invention Contest has been successfully held. 5 first prize winners, 10 second prize winners and 20 third prize winners are elected on each session of the contest. Scientific researchers of our institute all take active part in the contest, what’s exciting is that good results have been reached. Therein, the work of mechanical patent invention “ One Anti-static adsorption Optical System in Near Hemisphere Field of View with Super Low Distortion” of our institute ever won the first prize of the 1st Innovation and Invention Contest; “One Endoscope with the Design of Illumination fiber along the Axis” of Feimiao Optoelectronic Technology (Xi’an) Co., Ltd. and “ One LED Light Source Module with use of Optical Plastic and Its Preparation Method” of Xi'an Focuslight Technologies Co., Ltd. separately won the third prize of the first session and the second prize of the second session.
