Project “Method for Rate Multiplication of Multi-Data Rate Compatible Ultra-High Speed Self-Adaptation All-Optical Data Package” completed by Zhaowei, Xie Xiaoping of XIOPM was authorized patent for invention in Japanese on March 11, 2011, and authorized in the US on December 13, 2011. This is the first time in XIOPM that a patent was authorized in two foreign countries.
“Method for Rate Multiplication of Multi-Data Rate Compatible Ultra-High Speed Self-Adaptation All-Optical Data Package”: through real time pulse width compression of the original electronic or optical data package from terminal user or network interface equipment, generate the optical data package which has the same rate with the original data package but the duration time of all pulse signal has been shortened greatly; and then eliminate the excess time from the pulse width compression to decrease the data cycle, thus realize the data package signal rate multiplication. This invention has solved the technical problem that the data package rate is restricted in the process of electronic-optic and optic-electronic transformation, and also the solved the problem of interconnection and intercommunication between networks or systems with different communication rate or protocol.
