Director of Qinghai Provincial Scientific Council, Xie Yuan, Visited Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), CAS, on 28th, February, 2011. Director of XIOPM Zhao Wei, Party Secretary Wu Wenbin and some researchers from State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics and Photonics (SKLTOP) participated the meeting with Xie Yuan.

The two sides had in-depth discussions and reached cooperative intentions on the demonstration applications and the transformation of photonic network communication, novel special power and energy-saving film, etc. in Qinghai.
Xie Yuan and his accompany visited SKLTOP, Novel Energy Center and Femto Technology (Xi'an) Co.,Ltd. after the meeting. Scientists from SKLTOP demonstrated the latest achievements of laser in video communication.
