Abstract: Image Registration is of special importance in Remote Sensing Image, Medical image, a large number of other Optical Image Analysis and Learning and Pattern Recognition. The obtained two or multiple optical images under different conditions, such as different time, different weather, different perspectives, different positions, different lighting and different imaging devices, will be corrected geometrically and conducted stitching and overlaying, which is the basis of integration and comprehensive analysis of various data sources. The lecture will systematically describe the fundamentals, representative methods, development trends and related applications of Image Registration.
