Speaker Profile:
Zhang Liangpei graduated from Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS. He is a “Changjiang Scholar” of Ministry of Education, a Chief Scientist of National “973 Plan”, an IEE Fellow, and Director of State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science Research Office, Mapping Remote Sensing Information Engineering, Wuhan University. He is engaged in Remote Sensing Science and Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Pattern Recognition. He has published more than 200 papers in academic journals home and abroad, completed more than 30 projects of National Natural Science Foundation and research projects of “863, 973 Plan”, and been awarded the First Prize of Natural Science and Surveying & Mapping Science and Technology by Ministry of Education. He has instructed more than 50 master and doctoral students and is the instructor of National Hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertation. He is also served as a taster and a associate editor of more than 20 international journals, such as IEEE Trans.GRS, INT.J.REMOTE SENSING, PE & RS and served as an organizer and president of more than 20 international academic conferences.
