Professor Shen Ping, doctor tutor, Director of Network Technology Research Center of Singapore Nanyang Technological University. Professor Shen graduated from University of Birmingham, UK, with Ph. D granted. In 1995 he researched in the University of Birmingham as post doctorate; In 1996, he did researches of semiconductor laser and high-speed optical communication in Electric and Electronic Engineering Department of Hong Kong University as visiting scholar; in July, 1997, he joined photoelectron research center of electronic department of the City University of Hong Kong；in 1998, he won IEEE EDS/MTTS India Chapter Award for best thesis；in 1999, he joined electric and electronic engineering school of Singapore Nanyang Technological University; in 2002, he won best thesis award of the third international micro wave and millimeter wave conference. He has published more than 150 theses in learned journals and international conferences. In 2002 he won Singapore Academy of Sciences’ award for young scientist.
