Postgraduate degree, doctor of Engineering, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently the Director of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

He mainly engages in aerospace optics, photoelectric engineering research. From 1999 to 2009, he successively served as assistant director and deputy director of XIOPM. In 2009, he served as the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Commission for Inspecting Discipline, deputy director of XIOPM. In 2014, he served as the secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, deputy director of XIOPM. In November 2018, he served as secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of the institute (presided over the work). In July 2020, he is appointed as director of XIOPM.
