Postgraduate degree, doctor of Engineering, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently the deputy director of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the head of Optoelectronic Technology Department (Concurrent post).

He mainly engages in optoelectronic engineering research. Since 2014, he has successively served as deputy director, director of Precision Physical Quantity Measurement Laboratory, assistant director of XIOPM. In November 2018, he was appointed as deputy director of XIOPM.
