Advances in Construction of Joint Laboratory of Transport Photoelectric Technology Application of XIOPM
Recent knowledge from Project Management Center of West Region Transport Science and Technology of Ministry of Transport, four projects applied jointly by XIOPM and Ministry of Transport have received fund, which including surface project safety precaution equipment development of ship voyage in bridge water, twelfth five-year plan key science and technology special project of western transport construction project, three subprojects of highway network operation monitor and efficiency promotion based on internet of things: development of highway transport meteorological environment visibility monitoring equipment and precipitation monitoring technology research, development of highway transport meteorological environment pavement monitoring equipment, integrated information issuing technology research of highway network operation monitor. The project safety precaution equipment development of ship voyage in bridge water will solve the safety problem of ship voyage in bridge water; research objective of project of west region transport science and technology of Ministry of Transport is to develop practical product and technique and its application, the objective of special project highway network operation monitor and efficiency promotion based on internet of things is to promote the travel efficiency and safety, develop the key technology research and equipment development of inter provincial highway network operation information monitor, transfer, process, and issue, and experiment application of real time road network operation information service. XIOPM will undertake the development task of bridge anticollision monitoring camera and safety precaution system, highway visibility monitoring equipment, road surface rain water and ice monitoring equipment, and high brightness optical fiber signal board.
Joint Laboratory of transportation photoelectric technology application was established in 2009 by XIOPM and science and technology research institute of Ministry of Transport. The two parties developed cooperative research of the application of photoelectric technology in transport to provide practical means for intelligent transportation technology and transportation informatization. And the fund received for project of transport science and technology in western region represent that the cooperation between two parties is becoming closer and closer, which will effectively promote the construction and development of Joint Laboratory of transportation photoelectric technology application.
Western transport science and technology project of Ministry of Transport will solicit and subsidize the projects which can promote the development of transport, if the researchers of XIOPM have good achievements and technology, they can develop the work through Joint Laboratory of Transport Photoelectric Technology Application.
